OK, try it one more time. McPhee's has been an arse for ages now. Do you have the book on your shelf, in your store, etc?

I have a small request. If you have a slimy skill active in your inventory (the ones from Mother Slime), could you record the amount of charges? They don't get reset by perming, but you can only see how many you have when they're still active/permed.

IT doesn't seem to detect my Autonomous Disco Ball hatching that i have in my DC

EDIT: I took my hatching out of my DC and it still doesn't detect it

KolMafia is usable on a Mac, so yes. This is not a stand alone program, it is a script that requires KolMafia to run.

It recognizes my Disco Ball hatchling in either Hangks or my inventory, though I didn't test it in my display case.

My only complaint is that it doesn't recognize either of my legendary outfit tattoos. (DB and AT.)

Hm, when selecting a program to run it, it won't let me select KolMafia (it doesn't recognize kolmafia as an application)... I've been using the .jar- should the .dmg make a difference?


***EDIT: Tried the .dmg, and still no.

You'd execute it from Mafia itself. Just place it in your scripts directory, and then you can call it either from the CLI ("call snapshot-1.4.ash") or from the Scripts dropdown menu.

On a re-run of the script, I am unable to replicate the familiars in DC issue, nor the Epic tattoos problem. Bale, or anyone else who has two or three of the epic tattoos, could you send me the HTML of the "account_tattoos.php" page?

I don't have any, unfortunately :(

Perhaps you could log in, log out (to refresh your DC - for those having problems) and then try again? And are any OTHER items that are in your DC not showing up as you having them?

Thanks Bale. It's not checking AT ALL for the tattoos, which is weird. But for some reason, it's checking the BRICKOfig one. I'll do some testing and get back to you.

Edit: My profile is correctly showing that it's testing for the AT outfit. (I don't have the tattoo, but I have all the outfit pieces).

Also, this snapshot is showing fine. Could you delete tattoos_gifname_outfits.txt from your /data/ directory, to force mafia to reload it, and then try again?

Finally got around to using this and I like it. Thank you.

Where do you get your time stamp from? The page says "Generated on 28th February 2010 (7:02 PM)" but my local time when generated was 2:42 PM. I presume we may be in different time zones (I'm in EST) but it looks as if your source's clock has drifted somewhat as well. Adding time zone to the time stamp might be a worthwhile addition.

I'm not suggesting this should be addressed but I note that it reports I have the components of Clockwork Apparatus, but not the tattoo. That is correct because the character does not have torso awareness. As a never ascended character, I'm not sure whether handling the special cases I might generate are of general utility.

Finally I note that you include your name and player number at the top of the page. Perhaps the player number of the profile's source might be worth including?

I unfortunately have no way of knowing whether a character is going to be ascended or not, so there's nothing I can really do with the tattoos there. I'm not sure what you would like me to do in this case. And I don't store the playerID in the database. It offers nothing above what the username offers - you can always find it out with a quick whois should it be necessary.

The time stamp is GMT. I suppose I should let people know - thanks for mentioning it!

Thanks. I pointed out the torso thing but I don't really think you should do anything special to handle it or something similar. It was an interesting observation but every time I tried to turn it into a feature request I came up with something that doesn't seem worth while.

As for player number, I just figured it the name and number were important enough to use when talking about yourself they could be important for the profile as well. I only noticed it because I wondered when you started, compared to me and because there is an unrealized pattern of "Username (#player number)".

Not a big deal, though.

I disabled "Turn On One-Click Crafting" in my account options, took another snapshot, and now recipes with multiple formulas (such as rum and cola (dyspepsi)) appear green in my profile. Just letting you know where the issue is if you feel like fixing it.

  • When one-click crafting is on the following appear as undiscovered: bloody beer (Sir S), rum and cola (dyspepsi), plain pizza (wad of dough), gatorskin umbrella (goatskin), gatorskin umbrella (titanium), & sticky meat kilt (skirt).
  • When one-click crafting is off the sticky meat kilt (skirt) shows as undiscovered.
  • The wiki link directs to an unknown page for some discoveries because of the text in parentheses.
  • Should Tattoos > Normal be Tattoos > Outfit instead?
  • Could you link the outfit tattoo text to the relevant outfit page? And link the equipment & skills names to their pages? These should be easy since the text is the same. It would be nice to have links for the trophies and anything else complex in the future.
  • Could you add the Staff of the Deepest Freeze next to Frosty's Arm, or perhaps another hobopolis section for misc items (instruments, chefstaff, etc.)
