Why doesn't Mafia use nuns?

I have "auto-recover mana at 10%" and "try to recover up to 100% mana" picked and I've checked the nuns on the "use these restores" list, but it just gives me a "you ran out of restores" message when my MP gets low. Am I doing something wrong?

The automatic use of the nuns only triggers if you can hold the entire 1000 points of restoration. If there wasn't some sort of logic like that, they'd get used up on the first three restorations of the day, which is unlikely to be what you wanted.

Don't like it? Use Bale's restoration script instead.

It does what he says as well as taking care of many other limits of mafia's default restoration.
