But ... a couple of other newer things you may want to consider for the next version:

Space Tours Tripple (#6027), from A-boo peak, will cure Beaten Up as well. (Although, it's also a combat stun, so maybe one would prefer to use it for that.)

creepy ginger ale (#6037), from twin peak, restores 35-45 MP.

Do you avoid adding support for CSA all-purpose soap for the similar reasons (as soap also removes negative effects)? I've been using modified version (post #1884) with no apparent issues, but I might be missing some aspects.

Correct. If something has a significant other effect, powerful enough that it could be considered a primary effect, I don't want it mindlessly used for recovery. Though perhaps I should consider them for softcore usage? That would mean another field in the datafile though.

My character was beaten up and I wasn't able to autorecover. UR is set to allow use of the campground, which should have removed beaten up. I even had free rests remaining. The hot tub was also available.

The version of UR I was running at the time was 3.10.8.

From Bale in the BBB thread:

I'm a little bit more puzzled that it didn't use the hot tub. That makes no sense to me. Are you sure it is configured to allow use of the hot tub?

I'm positive. After UR didn't cure beaten-up I double checked both the availability of Hot Tub rests, I had used one at the time, and I checked the UR was still set to use them: which it was. I also checked whether KoLMafia was still set to auto-remove malignant status effects and it was.

There may be some strange interaction going on here between BBB, UR, and KolMafia. I've had the unable to recover from beaten-up issue before and it always seems to happen when I'm in a path run where the "normal" healing options aren't available.

As a test I unset auto-remove malignant status effects and hit what may be the same issue. This time I was in the relay browser and looking for ore in the Itznotyerzitz Mine. A cave-in caused me to be beaten up and I got:

BBB is my between battle actions script. At the time I had 8 free campground rests available and all five hot tub uses.

Versions: KoLMafia r11943, BBB is 2.6 with the mods I noted in post 441 in the thread, and UR is 3.10.9.

I then set KoLMafia back to auto-remove malignant status effects, got another cave-in, and had the same thing happen.

Any thoughts?

I updated UR, ran, got beaten up because there seems to be some issue with the day of the dead monsters, and then kept getting autoadventure failing with "Script aborted". I finally figured out that UR (which is the only thing that even remotely qualifies as a BBS for this character) was the problem. I manually removed Beaten Up and I was able to proceed. I wonder if we need a wiki article on Beaten Up and the automation options to remove it?

That old version would not have used a campground rest to recover from Beaten Up. Version 3.10.9 would have.

Fine! I fixed the vale=value bug in my local copy. I'm not going to make a release for this, but you'll see it fixed whenever I have a better reason to update UR.

I do recommend that. I very strongly recommend that, but I doubt it caused this problem.

UR just used up my scented massage oils, all three of them. I looked and the box is not checked in mafia's interface, or the relay interface.

Well, you never actually want to use that "use inventory instead" unless you're okay with it considering anything you have at least 1 of to be free. As in, acquiring another 300 red pixel potions? No cost.

That's a setting you should only ever use if you disable using the mall and NPCs.

I added it to the data file just now (hopefully in the correct format), I used a slightly larger window than the one on the wiki since it was not finihsed spading so I set it to 300-400 with a 350 average for both.
