There's usually no purpose at all to loading main.php more than once per day, so I really can't agree with loading it at every login just in case there's a KoL issue to resolve.

Also, if it gets read at login, won't that prevent me from seeing reminders/messages/... when I open relay browser?

Please shoot me down for this, as I know it's only a temporary thing, but I'm very tempted to add Supercold as an element, at least until Crimbo is over. There are now several effects that use it, and it makes a huge difference to surviving level 2 bears (and level 3 if you are insanely rich and buy badges - I can't fight enough for them to get hard).

Revision 13414 looks inside your workshed at login to see what is currently installed. It adds the item to the campground array. More work is necessary:

- If we don't see a workshed when we look at the main campground, we don't need to look inside it.
- When you use a workshed item, you lose it from inventory and gain the item that was already there.
- Unless you've already changed workshed equipment today, in which case you do not lose the item from inventory.

Other than the campground array, we don't remember what your current workshed item is. I don't know if there is anything we need to know that for. I don't know if we should give you a "are you sure" nag like we do when you replace your dwelling or bedding. You won't LOSE the item that is currently installed - it will come back to inventory - but you won't be able to undo that action until tomorrow.

I'd say no on the nag, though maybe we could do with a mention on the things to do before ascension list, as it apparently remains.
Not sure the item regain is an issue, as though I didn't check, mafia did have an acquire message for the existing one when I used another one.

We should probably wait to find out how the workshed stuff works during ascension before adding a reminder. Jick indicated that the spleen items wouldn't be ascension relevant, at least.

This is annoying. The warbear rejuvenation potion gives the "New and Improved" effect. I was wondering why it didn't show the new effect. Turns out, there is an existing "New and Improved" effect which is different than this one.

Revision 13416 fixes the description parsing to all "Chance of Critical Hit" and also "chance of Critical Hit".
It also adds the modifiers for the second, duplicated effect - which causes a "duplicate modifiers" error on login.
Yes, we know about it. I fully expect new bug reports to be opened. Merge them here.

In the mean time, I will submit a bug report to KoL. Chances are, they will completely ignore it, as usual, and we will have to figure out how to deal with this situation. We could do it the same we we deal with the six different status effects all named "A Little Bit Evil" - but I don't really like what we had to do for that. I bet we will have no choice.

In r13416, the hatchling for the warbear drone is wrong.

r13418 removes warbear badge when you fight a higher ranking officer on level 3.
I know you don't lose them fighting higher ranking officers anywhere else.
If someone wants to spade whether you lose one fighting something else on level 3 feel free !

Darzil, it removes a badge when you visit level 3, regardless of what you fight. I already found that out the hard way. Thought it was a bug, but Gemelli said otherwise.

Level 2 will take your belt charges even if you didn't fight a warbear and your combat didn't cost a turn. I lost 5 charges before I figured that out.

I wasn't willing to check for sure, but it seemed like the "you're out of adventures" non-adventure used up a battery charge too. There are too many reasons to not fill up organs when first logging in now...

Only very minor issue I have spotted with Workshops so far (though I guess scriptwriters might want to access the data of which is installed) is that if you make recordings Mafia thinks you have gained them in the next fight you finish. I guess it just needs to know about the non-combat? Will try to remember to check tomorrow (edit - actually, can't check making stuff, but it is Non-combat 821 "LP-ROM burner"

If this was going to be around longer, I'd spend the time to make all those things log nicely. However, something that we should do is make sure we deduct the proper amount of whosits for actions.

For 810/2, we deduct 100
For 810/4, we deduct 250. That is correct for upgrading from level 1 to level 2, but this same option is used for upgrading from level 2 to level 3. We should presumable look at the response text and detect 500 for the L2->L3 upgrade.

Next time somebody does a L2->L3 update, could you get a debug log of the process, so we can look at the HTML? Thanks.
