I check the Quest Log and discover the true name of the quest is Give Me Fuel:

I need to collect 20 toxic globules. Couldn't possibly be simpler than that. Incidentally, that 1 globule listed in my questlog was in inventory before I got the quest. I can even buy them from the mall. I'm done when the quest log eventually says this:

Seriously! I get the first one when I have 20 Globules. I get the second one if I have more than 20 globules. By adding or subtracting a globule from my mall store it will switch between them. In either case, I get the usual message when I return to the kiosk:

1) Against a horrible tourist family:

I notice that I no longer have the refreshments in inventory. I'm not sure when they disappeared, since KoLmafia didn't know they were reusable. It might have been when I was told "the basket is empty", but, in any case, with an inventory refresh at this time they are not there.
 
The wiki makes it look like you sometimes can feed more than one person : "You boisterously hand out snacks to your opponent and the (2-3) tourist(s) in front of him/her in line. It seems to placate them."
 
I don't recall seeing that, but it must have happened; it went straight from 28/30 to "visit the Kiosk".
 
Well, hopefully r15716 will work out the different messages. Haven't set quest started on getting the combat item, as KoL doesn't seem to handle them well based on the Fingernail clippers quest (should probably change that one too when I next get it and get the html).

People who use double spaces don't understand the concept of kerning. Double-spacing between sentences was a useful thing when we used typewriters and every character including "i" and periods used the same space as a "W" but it makes little sense on today's computers which know how to leave the proportional spacing between characters and sentences, especially since html actually ignores double-spaces. It's just a relic and which it is bad enough from people who once used typewriters, but there are too many younger people adopting the habit from them, believing that it is correct, even though they have never touched a typewriter. I really wish they'd stop it.

tl;dr: Double-spacing between sentences annoys me.

I also invite you to look at the double space between the first two words of the sentence. Given Darzil's comment, it looks like sometimes there is the word "boisterously" there, but when there is not, KoL sloppily continues to generate 2 spaces, counting on your browser to collapse them.
 
Oh dear. There also. Jick probably typed those by accident. I go crazy during the Twitch streams watching him type two spaces between every sentence. He loves them.
 
Honestly, I still find them useful when typing, and especially in comments in code, which is usually fixed font and kerning doesn't come into play. And then, often with proportional fonts, I don't like the end-of-sentence kerning. But I'm very conscious of what I do and the context that I do it in.

There - three sentences, and two double spaces ;-)

But it's the extra space between the first two words that expose a likely coding error, not an idiosyncrasy of keyboarding.

Mafia seems to be a bit confused by the perfume-soaked bandana having both stench and prismatic resist enchants. It gives +4 stench resist, but mafia thinks it only gives +2.
 
I have the extra Dinsey Maintenance options, so will be adding them tomorrow. Unfortunately adding them properly means making Scale: and MLMult: into fields than can accept expressions, so having to get that working first.
