It seems that killing quest bosses rewards you with 1 more replica Mr. Accessory. Path progression, which is presumably more replica Mr A's, can be bought from the real Mr. Store in the form of replica Ten Dollars

These replica Mr. A's can be used at a new shop adjacent to the Mr. Store. The new store is called Replica Mr. Store and can be accessed via

The replica Mr. Store offers 3 different replica IOTM for each year from 2004 to 2023. My understanding is that the 3 offered each year are hardcoded and never change. Each of these replica IOTM are new items. I'll list the ones I've seen so far at the end of this post and organize by year. Only 1 of the 3 offered per year can be bought. IOTM must be bought in year order as well. Initially only the 2004 ones are available, even if you have multiple replica Mr. A's to use. Once the 2004 item is bought, then 2005 items become available and it goes on in a similar fashion. I've heard that once you have bought all the way up to the current year, it will wrap around and you can buy another 2004 option, but have not confirmed myself.

Relevant path restrictions:
1. None of your IOTMs can be used in this path, only replica's can be used. Caveat being the latest IOTM, Cincho, gives an extra starting replica Mr A. Owning cincho also allows purchasing of a replica cincho from the replica Mr. Store immediately upon ascension.
2. Only replica familiars can be used. This means even base familiars like volleyball, leprechaun, etc. can not be used in this path. Can't make fams in path and use them either. Got the following message when I tried to use the volleyball.

3. Pulls are restricted. Can not pull equipment and likely other things. I haven't explored this much.

Positive there is more to say about this path. Wanted to get a post going for it. Will add more years below as I get them.

The easiest way to see the whole iotm list is, at this moment, http://forums.kingdomofloathing.com/vb/showthread.php?t=252765 (no item IDs though).
You can buy the second iotm per year after you've bought a 2022 one.
Things like chateau and source terminal work like access to the true ones, keeping their upgrades and configuration between runs and sharing them with true ones if you have them.
The bookshelf iotms don't use the bookshelf and the summon mechanics are different: they are only usable from the inventory and the libram gives one of each resolution while tomes give all 3 cast results each.
Emotion chip gives the Replica Emotion Chipped skill and this AFAIK is the only "new" things except for items themsevlves, e.g. the hatched fams are not replicas but normal fams.
The restrictions are weird as it seems like derivatives of the allowed iotms are allowed (but some skills don't work which may be fixed in the future).
 
Mafia believes you have no familiars while in run. in_terrarium returns true and have_familiar false, so it sort of works. I expect it's because none of the familiars are in standard.
 
There are two separate terraria, which also would contribute; goose is standard legal and I believe suffers from the same problem. I'm not in run so I can't grab html right now, unfortunately

Not sure why this happened, maybe a KoL bug, as the character did not have an over-the-shoulder Folder Holder equipped, or in inventory but I'm reporting in case it turns out to be important.

I recently added something that refreshes inventory when breaking the prism. I did this by clearing equipment, then sending an equipment refresh. Apparently that doesn't refresh folders.

It's hard to test because I only get one chance per ascension ;-)
 
I don't know whether this is a bug or not: should the maximizer suggest wishing for +meat when a pocket wish is in inventory, and usable, and "creatable" is selected in the maximizer pane?
 
No, genie and maximizer don't really interact at the moment. It would be a feature request.

The way this works is that statuseffects.txt has a series of "sources", and if a command is a source for an effect maximizer will suggest it. Now, genie (and monkey paw) are a source for all wishable effects, but because they're not in the file (and no code has been written to handle this otherwise) they're not seen as potential sources.
 
I just got my Replica Kramco, and it looks like Mafia does not currently know it can make sausage with it.

Have not diagnosed the root cause, but I have suspicions.

I had a replica January's Garbage Tote
I used it in-run for the broken champagne bottle and tinsel tights
When I freed the king, I lost the replica item.
- I suspect I still had the tinsel tights
In aftercore, when maximizing for item drop, the maximizer suggested that I fold and equip a broken champagne bottle
I said "do it" and when it tried to do it, I got something like "you don't have the item you are trying to use".

My suspicion is that the maximizer thought I could fold the tinsel tights into the broken champagne bottle, but since I no longer had a replica garbage tote, it couldn't do it. (The garbage tote "folds" items by using the tote and selecting a choice option.)

So, who was confused? The maximizer? (Yes, because I couldn't actually fold the item.) The "fold" command?

You might be able to reproduce it by having a garbage item in inventory and a closeted (or otherwise inaccessible) Garbage Tote.
 
Probably the fold command. The garbage tote isn't actually a foldable -- we just pretend it is. The Loathing Legion knife isn't really, either. They both get special cased.
 
For the fold command, I think it should check if the garbage tote - or replica garbage tote - is “accessible” - not necessarily in inventory - and retrieve_item to put it into inventory, if it is.

I have a regular garbage tote in storage. That would fix this issue - for me.

I still don’t understand the maximizer well enough (at all, really) to understand why it assumed tinsel tights in inventory was good enough to get the broken champagne bottle. Obviously, the special casing for garbage tote hasn’t reached far enough into the maximizer.

What if I used to have a replica garbage tote in run, currently have tinsel tights, but don’t actually own a non-replica garbage tote?

This is well beyond my maximizer-internals-fu. 😀

I went to the maximizer and maximized for initiative.
One suggested boost: "make and equip pants replica Cargo Cultist Shorts
No.

ReplicaMrStoreRequest could use some improvement:
- For each item it stocks (as listed in coinmasters.txt), associate it with a year.
- When you visit it, see what year's replica IOTMs are on offer
- Provide a canBuyItem (and availableItem) method which takes IOTM year into account.

It assumes that if you have any item in a fold-group, you can fold for any other item. Until now, that was a reasonable assumption. I think it only breaks immediately after breaking the prism from a Legacy of Loathing run where you've folded an item, until the next rollover. That code is in CheckedItem.

The other issue is with FoldCommand: it needs to try to retrieve the tote if it's not in inventory (I guess you could have closeted it to encounter the issue before now). If it can't retrieve it, it needs to abort.
 
Revision r27423 tracks which year's old replicas are available in Replica Mr. Store and other (non-2023) year's items are not available.
Revision r27425 deals with both the fold command and the maximizer issue.
 
Using a pocket wish does not work correctly in LOL.
