Whoa. That is a sucky design goal when you spell it out that way. I guess I'll just try to live with a lack of Winter paths...

Though if he made a nice path, I'd definitely choose to do that instead of farming Crimbo.

But he also wants people to want to participate in Crimbo, so that approach wouldn't work so well either.

Well, crimbo itself is a large enough "event" that, with a bit of extension, could become a full fledged path. Throw in the other various year end holidays, and I think we have a winner. And it's part of the game's long running mega-event, with the ongoing story of crimbo. In that sense, this long arc *is* the game (with numerous side-plots). Uber make-a-kol, sorry ;-)

Except if you do that, your crimbo is a 3 month event rather than ~1.1 month, and a lot of the 'specialness' of the crimbo event is the slow reveal. You don't just end up finding the hostage UC in the sub-sub-sub-basement on day one... you need to wait for the right day for that.
