Unfortunately r11568 won't capture the red text which you get after you follow the clues from the gray text.

I don't have a soul monocle. I still have a blank note. :)
I haven't seen any red text yet. Can you get a debug log?

Edit: Does the red text replace the previously grey text but look otherwise similar? If so, that is probably easy to fix.

It certainly appears so. I didn't get the grey text, and instead jumped straight to the red text. Lemme nab my own debug log at the next one I come to.

Well...I AM assuming that there is a "font" tag - which it would not need for black. It would still use it for changing the size, so hopefully it is still there.

I'll have my multi who has turns left do the third stage and see what the black font looks like.

Edit: I confirmed that the black text is captured correctly.

Edit 2: if you want to farm mime soul fragments:

set choiceAdventure612=1
set choiceAdventure613=2

(having unlocked that option, of course)

Edit 3: if you fight a mime, it seems to set "Holiday Monster window begin" and "end" counters for you. Presumably, those should be set for the choice adventure - whatever the interval is.

Want the assorted unknown items listed? I've got almost all of them now (just missing the Moxie skillbook).

And, as of now, it's just Grey, Red, Blue or Black text messages, depending on if you have the Soul Monocle equipped and how much of the puzzle you've unlocked.

Soul Mask's "changes your avatar" enchant makes you look like a Four-shadowed Mime.

The three records are usable; they grant skills (not auto-permed) and a (used) skillbook. Once I get the Moxie one, I'll update/add another post.

So ... while screwing around with a choice adventure GM script, I happened to notice that for choice 614 (the anvil) that "Forge 37 soul fragments" is choice #4 and "Leave" is choice #6. Which makes me think there is a choice #5 which hasn't turned up yet.

Well, I had 166 when i went there the second time (got a doorbell the first). Is there a reasonable number to check?

My thought was that there will be something that unlocks later on in the event. I would think that huge numbers of fragments must have been checked by now.

I just want to finish my level 30 Boris run and not have to be interrupted with the event for a day or two. Any ideas as to how to set 612 and 613 to just go get the hint and resume grinding at the shield generator?
