Bug - Cannot Reproduce Expanding abbreviated item names doesn't work any more

In r11705, the function which completes the item name if I enter only an abbreviated version (e.g. buy 5 chew str, instead of buy 5 chewing gum on a string) doesn't work any more. Unless I enter the full item name, the response is always "[xyz] has no matches".
In r11703, everything worked okay.

Edit: The mall search field (Purchases -> Item to find) is broken as well, but the search field within the item manager is still working normally.

Try restarting mafia (close it, don't just log out) and see if that still happens. I have seen that happen occasionally (though not in a long time), but restarting mafia always fixed it. I never figured out the actual cause.

It works for me with r11705:

Search complete.
Purchasing chewing gum on a string (1 @ 50)...
You acquire an item: chewing gum on a string
You spent 50 Meat
Purchases complete.

Since the issue is hard to reproduce, as Lost suggests, I'm marking this as "cannot reproduce".
