To the guy with the detuned radio problem, turn on 'buy items from NPC stores'. Almost nothing in this (or any other turn burning mafia script) will work well without it.
 
Argh... now I'm getting another problem with it. This one I'm just gonna post the log of. Well, a portion of it at least. Everything was working fine a few weeks ago! No idea what happened >.< Now the following just loops infinitely!

At the moment, they're set to off in both the mafia client and in Universal Recovery. That's what I did to try and fix it; it didn't work. The issue first cropped up yesterday, with HP and MP both set to (again in both) 35% start recovery, 60% goal. I have discovered how to get it working - I need to, regardless of what my recovery settings are, have MP at full. Only thing is, as soon as I do this (despite turning off the buff balancer!) it casts various buffs until I'm at 0 mp! I may end up trying a totally fresh Mafia install later today, see if that helps any. >.<

Sounds sort of like a bad BBS or manaburn script...
 
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, except none of the scripts I have actively burn mana. The only thing that does that is Mafia, and the function is off! Would it help if I uploaded my Mafia folder, minus the login info (and ascend.ash, since that's a restricted thingy)?
 
The bumcheekascend.ash - Relay Script is not working properly for me.
Or, well, I start it and get the page with the settings. The problem is that all the settings only contain the False value. Not that they are all set to False by default, the dropdown boxes only contain the option False. All of them.
 
Drkirre, if you wanted, you could just upload the dkirre_prefs.txt file (or whichever account is having the issues). The rest of it may apply if there are changes, but the main prefs file should direct us in where to check next. :)
 
Hmm... autoManaRestore is set to false. Does that restore when needed to cast a spell, or when you fall below the restore limit? Could try turning that on and seeing if that fixes the problem... it's possible that the script automatically plans out using XYZ skills if you have them and combat hasn't begun yet...

Edit: Nevermind that. It's just for during combat.

Try setting restore mana to not restore automatically, but to have a restore target to 20% if you do restore?

Edit2: Actually, may have found it... you have your target set to 30%, so that's fine... but your restore at is set to -5%. Not sure if that's how Mafia sets no restoration, but you could set that to 0% and see if it works better. If you REALLY don't want any restore even if you're empty, you could try setting it to -1% instead and see if that works better...

Trying again now! Nope.. nothing. It's still doing the same thing. It won't let me adventure at all with less than full mana, it seems.
EDIT: It's doing it again now. And worse this time. I HAVE full mana, and it's still doing the moods->mcd->recoveryfail->moods loop!
EDIT2:REVENGEOFTHEEDIT: I seem to have fixed it, by setting every dropdown to 'do not autorecover'. Absolutely every box was required. Now it's working fine, recovering to safe amounts when it can, not trying to force me to restore more than exists.

Ah, so if it has a recovery target, but is set not to recover, it gets confused? At least in your case, correct?
 
I honestly have no idea. It freaked out a few more times, but nowhere near as badly; only two or three loops, then self-resolved.
 
Bug with the relay override script: line 61 was missing a ">" (to close the opening select tag -- this is causing the "zomg everything's false" error reported by Ferdawoon).

Thanks for letting me know about the relay problem - firefox must compensate for the HTML error. I've fixed it, and re-uploaded v0.1.
