bumcheekcend.ash - A zero setup semi-automated ascension script!

I need help. I use the bumcheekascend v0.54 script, and whenever I try to run it, this happens:

" Bad location value; "Giant Castle" (bumcheekascend v0.54.ash, line 2467) "

Can anyone please help me fix this? Up to this point the script worked fine.

Check out reply 3308....newer 54 version updated....problem is, giant's castle has to be changed to giant's castle (basement) in a lot of scripts.........harvest.ash counter.ash....and some data files have to be updated as well like HAR BOUNTY etc......
 
What does "condition check" in the CLI give you then? It may be that a condition has become "stuck" for whatever reason. Doing parts manually can lead to that even though goals should be cleared every time the script sets its own.

BCC, a couple quick problems with your new myst combat.

You check for bcasc_doMystAsCCS override after you check for Jarlsberg, so it can't be overridden. I'm not sure that's intended.

Your MP caps are done with "max" instead of "min", which for example causes Slice to be considered as 2000 damage or more.

When you did the castle quest manually did you also get the rocket thingie to open up the Hole in the Sky? If not you should probably go back and do that and this will solve itself :)
 
I just saw this exact thing with r231. The Hole in the Sky is not available and BCCAscend tries to adventure there without knowing that. In a perfect world the "That area is unavailable" message would say which area, but HITS is a good guess based upon "BCC: We have not completed the stage [hits]." Solution, as noted, is to make sure both quests are finished when doing the castle manually, and note that the castle will have to be done manually until both mafia (with quest tracking) and BCCAscend support it.

Completing the quest worked for me.

Tangentially, a long time ago when I was doing softcore with BCCAscend it would correctly realize it did not need to open the HITS because I had pulled the required items, but it would try to adventure there to identify potions.
 
The script is killing me. AoJ, so attack should not be used AT ALL ;)

The script should not get to "attack" without first printing anything if it actually went past the check for doasCCS. So the question is why get_ccs_action(round) is not returning you back to your CCS (which I assume does not consist of "attack") or at least not to the start of it.

Could you copy the quest log entry for the Baron RoflMao-quest and paste it here? It appears something is not matching correctly.

Right, my CCS for ascending is "WHAM.ccs" and it consists of:

So...I'm not sure why it wasn't looking at WHAM. I didn't change anything, except I did remove 'attack' from the end of my CCS but that shouldn't have changed the previous error I was getting.

As you can see in your two logs the round number at which you appear to start doing things is 2 I'm not surprised that you get "attack" with that as your second line.
The question is why it's not called with 0 since there is no action done before that, but for some reason Mafia seems to think that when the fight gets handed over to the Noob Cave we have incremented the round and thus moves further down the CCS than the start of it.

The Highland Lord told you that the Baron Rof L'm Fao, in his valley in the Big Mountains, has been overrun by monsters. Maybe you should try to fight your way through them to the gates of the Baron's fortress.

Thanks. That'd definitely explain your problem. If you want to fix it quickly open the script up in Notepad and search for "to the Valley beyond the Orc Chasm" and replace it with "The Highland Lord told you that the Baron Rof L'm Fao".

It works just fine. WHAM restarts cleanly. I'd suggest you just put in WHAM without any fall back, so no matter what round you start on, WHAM will do it's thing. I've been happy doing that for a very long time.
 
Could we get an option in the script to get the ore from the mine using clovers so that we do not waste turns in it?

Also, I don't know if it is an error or not, but when I get to that quest I always stop and do it with the clovers myself manually, but still the script goes and spends adventures there until I get the outfit, even though it is not necessary since I have already solved that part
