I just noticed some odd behavior in my 100% Blackbird run. For some reason, it appears that the script switched to a parrot for the MacGuffin shore vacation, so I probably now have a 99.9% run ....

In the last case it is because you don't have any stench resistance which makes the visit to Guano junction fail, it's been reported earlier. In the first case I have no idea :)
 
The shore isn't a combat zone, so your run isn't ruined.

EDIT: woops, this page stayed a whole day opened in my browser, no wonder there were ninjas.
 
I got the same loop about the clover, but I didn't catch it in time to scroll back in the CLI to see why. I did have 0 turns though, so I think that had something to do with it (I have stench resist hardcore permed).

forgive me if i've missed it somewhere in this thread, but what's the easiest way to see the changelog, assuming there is one. always curious about what bugs are fixed and what enhancements are made.

The easiest way is to download the script and check the top of it I think. Well, or open it up via sourceforge and do the same. The changelog is only listed at the top of the script.
 
Indeed, but it does look somewhat interesting. Looking forward to trying it next week when I get out of this current trendy run.
 
Some initial thoughts:

- This is muscle class without hero. It's going to be rough without a way to not die all the time.
- I imagine mafia will end up supporting everything within a couple days, so that's not an issue.
- I have no idea how the familiar handling will end up working, it's likely that an update to have_path_familiar() may suffice for everything, returning false in a Boriscore run.
- Similar with Fistcore, it may end up being on the user to set an appropriate CSS.
- I'm certainly OK with basically Fistcore levels of support, which boiled down to "do it manually until you get drunken baby, then you can run the script".
 
For the familiar you may need to change setFamiliar() to return without doing anything if you're in a Boris-ascencion as well in order to avoid potential problems without having to encapsulate all calls to said function, but other than that and a change to have_path_familiar I believe we should be set familiar-wise.

Since you can only equip Trusty as your weapon I'm guessing that the Knob will have to be done the Harem-way.
Other than taht I think it's only the mining-part that could be a problem since we are bound to a specific weapon and can't get the mattock. I'm guessing that's solved somehow in game but needs to be taken care of in the script I guess sicne we today try to get teh mining outfit (unless in fist-core).
 
Must do harem, no access to KGE outfit or store; also an alternate way to do the mountains (Clancy shows you new monsters that drop ore in the mine)

There is a 'drunken baby' food equivalent skill. Except it caps at about 120-140 damage at 30 fullness, and cost 5 mp. Affording mp during this run is a big deal, and running ML is mostly unsurvivable for now except for back farming. Will change once people can start perming skills (skill perm for AoB runs only).

Because of how expensive it is going to be for combat or healing, it's extra tricky to script. Auto attacking with the Boris trivial skill might be the only viable set it and forget it mode now, which is basically an auto attack that never fumbles. Take into the account that without any summons, food is hard to come by without going out of your way to farm it.

There are extra quest to level up Clancy. This may or may not be ignored once people learn how the runs pan out.
 
Has the skill perm thing been confirmed? And this is muscle class without hero AND noodles. I don't think this is going to be easily doable without dying, particularly with no seltzer to top up MP, or healing skills.
