Crimbo Town has finally reopened. Cafe is open with what is probably the usual stuff, and Uncle Crimbo and the Toy Factor are now CoinMasters ala the Wizard's Shoppe.

Uncle Crimbo and the Toy Factor are now CoinMasters...
You can trade candy for Candy Credits - check.
You can trade Candy Credits for items - check. Except...

You can't actually spend Candy Credits on items for yourself. You spend them on gifts which get sent to other people.

It does seem like the two of these combine to make a Coinmaster (one buys and issues tokens the other takes tokens and sells) - but, as always, there is a special twist to it.

You spent so much time generalizing the code for coinmasters to deal with all possibilities, but sure enough Jick finds a new way to make your life difficult. (In a good way!)

Irrelevant in terms of much of anything, but apparently TPTB decided to name the Candy Diorama "Sugarville", as per Uncle Crimbo:
Good, good. Listen, here's the thing. That diorama's actually a magic portal to the place where I get all of the candy we use in Crimbo Town; you know, the stuff the elves eat, the stuff we put in stockings, everything comes from this place. It's a land where everything is made out of candy. So obviously, It's called Sugarville.
That being said, it also calls it the Candy Diorama, since that's the visible title. And we don't always follow their names, when the mafia descriptions are better. Just wanted to note it, not expecting this to change. :)

It would probably be best to allow KoL to read the values from the coinmaster like it does with the mr store and travelling trader.

That works for buying stuff (I doubt that list will change anyway), but for selling stuff it would have to recheck every time you gain a new item.

Revision 10147 adds a "Crimbo 2011" Coinmaster. You can trade candy to Uncle Crimbo for Candy Credits and you can use Candy Credits to either "gift" or "donate" items. "gift" prompts for a victim. "donate" gives to the needy.

It would be nice if Crimbo11Request.registerRequest would look at the "towho" field of crimbo11.php requests with "action=reallybuygifts" and log in the session log who you are giving to. For now, it just says something like "trading 100 Candy Credits for 1 pack of pogs". It would be nice if it added " for Veracity" or " for the needy" (if towho=0) or something.

There are 5 candies with missing data for the Crimbo 2011 Coinmaster. Here are their credit prices:

25 strawberry-flavored Hob-O
25 bag of many confections
25 PlexiPips
25 Pain Dip
25 Comet Drop

You're welcome and thank you for adding them. Division by Zero really makes the missing entries stand out. After that it didn't take too much meat to purchase them so that I could report properly.

I'm confused as to why mafia is triggering my mood when I eat/drink at the crimbo cafe. Is it possible to disable this behavior without setting my mood to apathetic while consuming?

Today, the calendar gives a location to fight Big Candy (though I forgot to note the URL). He drops this:
--------------------

Big Candy's tophat 100 none
Big Candy's tophat Candy Drop: +25, Damage Reduction: 5

Incidentally, can we get candy added to the special drops section in the stats popup on the sidebar?
