Trivial Avocations cards are usable but are not immediately consumed upon use.

inv_use.php?pwd&which=3&whichitem=5511

Gave me: "You pull out the trivia card (#297/1200) and read it.<p>Question: What was stolen from the Flansburgh Museum of Cursing on Dougtember third, 1925?"

(Is it always #297/1200?)

With the option to "Flip the card over for the answer". The card is not consumed at this time. If you press the button, it submits:

inv_use.php?pwd&whichitem=5511&answerplz=1

which redirects to:

inventory.php?which=3&action=message

and told me: "Answer: An ecru kitten." and gave me the "You Know What's Up" status effect. The card was consumed at that time.
 
I only added effects for two of the cards, by the way.

EDIT: and Veracity added them in r10167.

would it make sense to add the Trivial Avocations to the stuff that happens automatically, a-la the handful of jacks or other not-time-sensitive, once-per-day things? i'm aware that it can be added with a custom deed to the daily deeds, but avoiding cluttering that screen up may be preferable when the item is something like this that just summons other useable items. i can't think of a reason you wouldn't want to use this daily.
