Universal Recovery Script

I've been trying to get to the bottom of a significant slow-down since yesterday when auto-adventuring in mafia. After looking at a debug log, I thought I'd unset UR as the recovery script and mafia is now almost back to full speed. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or has any ideas as to why UR might be causing lag recently.

Edit: Today (4 Dec) mafia is back to its former speed.

I have plenty of meat but it just won't restore mp for me.

Have you turned off mall & NPC purchasing in KoLmafia's preferences?

Okay, I'm stumped. I cannot imagine why the script refuses to purchase items from NPCs or the mall. You've already stated that you have plenty of meat. You've verified that both the script and mafia are fine with purchasing. You've even demonstrated that the script has successfully downloaded the restoration map.

Let's turn up verbosity in the hope that it reveals something I did not consider. In the gCLI copy/paste this: (capitalization counts, so copy/paste is preferred to typing.)

The heck?! Okay, at least that homes in on the problem a bit. I see that bazaaretw is a level 15 Turtle Tamer. Is that the character with the problem? Interesting. I've got some new questions.

What is your character class and level? How many magical mystery juice are in your inventory? Are they in closet or main inventory? Is mafia allowed to use items in your closet? What is the result when you copy/paste the following into the gCLI?

Could also be in storage, since the old behaviour was to use anything in storage automatically, and the new behaviour is to only use it if they've enabled that preference (which is enabled by default, I believe, but...) so it's possible to break scripts that expect it to be available to them.

There is nothing in storage or closet but Mafia has access to them, I do have 4 MMJ's in my inventory. And yea those are my current toon specs. I don't use multi's so thats me. :)

Hmm... from my checking, I'm guessing that UR is saving your four MMJs for combat restoration. This is based on this section:

I believe that Theraze nailed the problem exactly. However I don't think his proposed solution was right. (You put the call to for_use() in the wrong place. I was also able to tidy those lines while I was at it.)

Bazaaretw, please download the new version and let me know if it fixes your problem!
