SVN and Changelog support (moved from BatBrain thread)

Was hoping to bust out SVN ZLib today but ran afoul of 1000 phone calls and emails. Tomorrow is another day, in which all I have to do is teach a camp, chart out about 10 songs, and play a two-hour Motown concert. Maybe somewhere in there will be time to test check_version() before release. haha

@roippi: I can dig it. I'm TortoiseSVNing and loving it.

dependancies is apparently a legit spelling in some regions. Of course our specific file does have to be spelled with an 'e'. Because those regions are silly.

It's actually an archaic spelling that hasn't really been used in about two centuries (aside from people misspelling the word).

ZLib's new check_version() removes its dependancy on the forum. It is now independant.

Aside: Despite fully intending to misspell them, I actually typed all those the correct way and had to backspace in order to properly misspell them.
