I could be imagining things, but I'm sure Mafia used to account for equipment fed to slimeling using the relay browser (feed to slimeling link on equipment page).
At present anything I feed to the Slimeling using the feed to slimeling link on equipment page is still available in mafia interface to wear. Refresh will fix it.
