Bug - Fixed Selected target cannot receive buffs (new error)

Wow, I must seem like the super whiner this week, but I now have a new bug. Prior to todays 8646 build (as in 8644), I was able to use both the UP ARROW buff caster and the BUFF * (or whatever amount) on my character in regular hardcore. It worked for all buffs, including Jalapeno Saucesphere. Now, whenever i use the above methods for anything that can be cast on other players (NOT 'self' skills), I get this error in the CLI tab:

Casting Jalapeño Saucesphere on yourself 1 times...
Selected target cannot receive buffs.

This worked as of yesterday. Has something in game changed that I missed? Thoughts? Feelings?
 
Yeah. Almost definitely a regression as a result of grotfang's r8646 fix according to this.

Since "yourself" is in hardcore, the target cannot receive buffs. Thank goodness. A lot of people would be losing MP if he wasn't in hardcore.

Hopefully that should work. It worked fine for me, but we'll see. If null screws us over at some point, an alternative fix would be to assign "me" to the target string and check for that along with null and 0 length strings when assigning names. Since names must be 3 characters or over, me would also be unambiguous.
