Bug - Not A Bug r9964: Modifier Maximizer and the Li'l Businessman Kit

Strange behavior is observed when Maximizer is used for things other than familiar weight and item/meat drop on certain familiars - for whatever reason it thinks that Li'l Businessman's Kit should be taken, despite it not giving any bonuses. Familiars include Barrrnacle, Smiling Rat, Ghuol Whelp and many others.

The easiest solution would be, of course, to just closet the item, but I hope it can be fixed on a software level.

There is nothing strange about this.

If a slot can't be filled with something that gives you what you want, a tiebreaker expression is used to pick something. In the tiebreaker, we have, among other things, "1 familiar weight, 1 item, 1 meat". The Li'l Businessman Kit gives +5 meat and +5 item, so +10 total, which beats most of the familiar items that simply give +weight.

If you don't want the Maximizer to switch your familiar item, you can use "-familiar" in your expression, or "-tie" to avoid using the tiebreaker.
