It's because it's taking the plain text from the description in the RSS feed. The title of each release is just the version number so I had to include the description to give a brief bit of info on what was in it.
 
Can we strip the leading

? And ideally strip the rest of the HTML tags in the title? IMO I'd like this to read "r25946 - Automatically generate release notes. by @heeheehee in #295"

I do think it's already better than the "No content" titles we were getting before, though, so no rush.
