I run a Windows 11 machine and update KolMafia on a regular basis.
On June 8th I completed the Nemesis Quest for my then current Ascension. The rest of that day's run was testing my new S Words IOTM and then using Garbo. There were no issues. Since June 9th however I have been having a recurring issue with Garbo.
At some stage during the day's run, the next adventure is changed to The Nemesis' Lair but Garbo doesn't seem to find the angry tourist there (the lair is of course empty, the quest being completed) but still tries to fight it, getting caught in an endless loop. Neither entries to the GLI nor stop commands from the browser script have any effect on this, so the Garbo script can only be ended by closing all open Mafia windows.
After closing Mafia completely and logging on again, the script can run to the end without further issue. The issue can also reoccur several times . There are days when it doesn't happen at all.
I have disinstalled Garbo and reinstalled it. I had hoped that it was connected to the current Ascension (a SC standard hardcore), so I went and did two Actually Ed runs (which were fun. Some of the best writing ever). But the problem is still there.
I had problems setting up Java way back when, so I am a little nervous about reinstalling Java & Mafia again. Anybody have any ideas about what might be causing the problem before I start battling my way thru a bunch of IT hassles?
