Bug "%fn, sing a song of my prowess" not recognized as available?

I am trying to use the new meat shield maiden skill from a script but mafia doesn't see it. Or maybe I am just not doing it right. I downloaded the most recent version, and I see that there are changes listed to add the new skills to mafia. I was using the familiar when I tried running my script.

I ran this:
use_skill(1,$skill[7598]);

I got this:
Could not find a known, usable skill of yours uniquely matching "1 %fn, sing a song of my prowess"

Am I just doing it wrong or is it not being recognized because it depends on equipping a familiar?

Yeah, I didn't wire anything up, and this is the first noncombat skill that requires having a particular familiar equipped to cast it, to my knowledge.
