I agree with your interpretation but it makes no sense. The character has quite a bit of meat available.
Does it only try to pull spleen items that give adventures? Because yeah, I could see how most of them would be too expensive for the settings. I don't know why I thought it would also try and optimize value for stats too.I'd have to look at the code but EatDrink often does not want to fill my spleen because mall prices are too high for my value of adventure.
