Let me put it another way.
Revision 12925 added the item and status effect - but with spaces, rather than a tab.
Revision 12930 changed the spaces to a tab.
As a result, the item and the status effect now show up correctly, as you can tell by going to the Internal Database frame and looking at them.
In other words, your bug report is exactly backwards: rather than "reverting" the item and the effect, revision 12930 made them work.
