It should ignore your CCS and WHAM if it's working properly. Maybe it has to do with how combat filters are handled and some of the fixes that have tweaked that recently. I rarely have the antique mirror on lazy runs, so...
 
I'm attempting to use bumcheekascend in softcore mode, and for some reason it's failing to equip the UV compass for desert exploration, even though the logs claim it wants to. Instead, it's leaving the offhand as what's in my base "bumcheekascend" custom outfit. Here are the logs:

That's...weird. Then, I guess it's never worked properly? I mean, if I'm in an area where I have a mob olfacted in my CCS, that sumbum gets olfacted! Which kind of doesn't make sense if BCA is supposed to completely ignore my CCS. Unless it's picky about what it ignores within a CCS? Regardless, I'm just glad that the GmoB failure isn't a regular thing!! Still doing soft core, and I'm *super* lazy, so I pull the mirror ^_^

Wild guess - you're running this without the "Run SC as HC" flag on, so you are 100% responsible for all equipment changes, but still wanting BCA to make this change. It won't. Unless you turn SC as HC on, so it will control equipment.

After it decides that it isn't the GMoB, it will follow your CCS normally. So that's normal.
 
I finally got around to trying out "License to Adventure" and...the script is casting Empathy and Leash... :confused:

Yep. But hey, it'll help whenever you break prism.

If I hadn't taken a 2 year break or so... ;) I'm doing an AT run so I have no shortage of meat so it's not a problem for me. Maybe if I get the ambition I'll look into skipping familiar buffs there, but since it's an older path I don't see a real reason to mess with it unless someone is completely bored. :D
 
FYI, none of the no-familiar paths avoid familiar buffs, as far as I remember. They'll avoid it when doing maximizer-based buffs, since mafia should report that they're useless, but in terms of intelligence...

If/when the next no-familiar path comes along, it'd probably make sense to save an internal variable for no_familiar and skip them all based on that, rather than reparsing path over and over. But... eh, when it happens, it happens. :) Or when I get motivated to go slogging.

So, I accidentally autosold my antique machete. In Bad Moon. But, after all the vines were beaten up. BCA is now freaking out even though all the overgrown shrines are cleared and open for bidness. Yesterday it chilled out after I spent an adv at the hospital, today it's back in freak-out mode even after an adv spent in all advable locations. Halp plz?

And now it's freaking out because I bought DFSS and have only one hammer of smiting. Which I can't closet. If anyone else runs into that, refreshing item inventory seemed to do the trick.

One of these days someone will figure out what these scripts do to get inventory out of sync, and mafia can fix that.

About your only choice is to fake your inventory to make it believe you have a machete and don't refresh inventory. Or finish the city manually.

Nothing we can do about mafia getting out of sync, besides doing what lost mentioned and ask you to try to think about what led to mafia being out of sync in the hopes that it can eventually be fixed.
 
I did have to do the rest of the hidden city manually, thank god for the wiki.

I'm not a script wizard, or programmer. I had no idea where the problem was, which is why I later edited in the refreshing inventory comment when it worked for me. As far as I'm concerned, mafia, and BCA are made of magic. Awesome sexy magic that allow me to do runs much faster than if I had to clicky clicky every step of the way. I do tend to spaz, and ramble, so, apologies for that.
 
Basically, something makes mafia believe that it has wrong stuff. It's possibly related to the maximizer, or failed equipping when it tries to do a two handed weapon while an offhand is worn, or trying to put an offhand without a main hand, or... something else. Nobody's paid enough attention immediately prior to get it fixed, yet. It'll hopefully happen eventually. Hopefully.
 
Look at what happened on the session logs for that session before your inventory got out of sync. That's about the only thing you can try to do. If you notice it early in a session when you can see your complete gCLI records for automation-only, that would be an even better series.
 
I don't recall that being an option in the session logs preferences section, will mafia automagically record that if I have all of the check boxes ticked? Oh, it'll be a few days, she's not even level 9 yet.

Ok, I never even look at logs, so, I turned on everything in preferences...the last time it never got as far as 1 adv, it was stuck in an infinite maximize loop because it couldn't equip 2 hammers of smiting.

I'll edit in the log later, but, I think the problem occurs when you start the day at lvl 11, hit 12, then buy dfss in the same session. I just logged in, already lvl 12, bought dfss first thing, and BCA isn't freaking out at all, it's perfectly fine.

Never played KoL before. I am currently a level 13 Pastamancer on my first run. Can I use this script?

if yes; how do I choose to use my Lil' Barrel Mimic instead of the pre-defined Rat as a familiar (I know where to choose in the settings in the browser, but what do I type - i tried "Lil' Barrel Mimic" but it does not seem to work). Also, how can I set up attack options (I'd like to use Entangling Noodles followed by Cannelloni Cannon)?

I have run into some problems, I get the following issue. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Happy KoL'ing!
