Hmm, no. After PvP fighting and losing the command above reports the base-stat correctly. Unfortunately, I'm not on a bubble for equiping anything right now.
My moxie is 4 right now, and immediate after login, the command above reports it correctly. I suspect, that after losing a bunch of PvP fights (and thus stats), that Mafia doesn't know to re-assess after the loss.
I'll see if I can reproduce evidence of this.

The log below might be a little deceiving. I used Mafia's menu "Hedge Rotation" and it solved the first maze w/o problem. However, the second maze it thought it completed, but it hadn't. Looking at the maze showed it was still in the unsolved state. Using the "[solve]" button produced the...
On Linux mafia launches Firefox on my system. Probably due to this:
String[] browsers = { "seamonkey", "firefox", "mozilla", "opera", "konqueror", "netscape" };
as illustrated on line 955...
It's possible that this feature request could accurately be described as a bug, but Linux's concept of "default browser" is so suspect I didn't think it warranted that designation.
@fronobulax - if preferredWebBrowser is left blank Mafia will launch the Windows default browser on that OS...
In fact, that was the route I originally took. But first, in Linux the "default browser" depends on which graphics libraries you are using at the time. X (mentioned above), Qt, Gnome and Java (mentioned above) all have different "defaults". None of these have any affect on Mafia's choice of...
For those of us who take advantage of Mafia's cross-platform nature by using it on a USB drive between computers with differing OSs, it would be nice if the browser launch behavior could be changed when on Linux.
Currently, you can set the browser Mafia launches inside of Mafia on the Browser...
It would be nice if the proxy autoloaded on start-up. That way I can re-use browser tabs, or use something other than the primary browser Mafia kicks off when you press the button.
This might be a Linux only thing. I used the exact same installation (USB) on MS-Visa FF 6.0.2 and did not see this issue.
It would be grand if someone could verify that they are not experiencing this on Linux (Debian Squeeze).
Force Results to reload for inline [use] links is not checked.
Checking it, and testing (with and without reloading mafia) did not change the occurrence of the problem.
BTW: I have GM turned off.
These are the only relay scripts I have -- most for a long time:

If you mean Ajax? Yes. If not, then how do I tell?
I also noticed that using from the multi-use screen (not the inventory popup) does not cause this problem.
OKay, it seem to happen consistently when I go to the Inventory Screen, use an item, then try something else (maybe top menu). It happens other places, but that's 100% reproduceable on my setup. (Linux, FF 6.0, Mafia r9822).
This happens pretty often to me now. Using the latest Mafia with FF6.0 on Linux. It isn't just the topmenu, though. A typical scenario occurs by manually adventuring through the proxy, then doing something in Mafia directly (usually using BCC's autoascend script) then when I go back to the...
