Ah, I did change it by hand, I'll check again later tonight - I'll probably ascend again :-p

I tested it out when ascending today, and it worked great with a few minor adjustments. The orange text was a bit tricky to read, but I'm just going to ignore it anyway, so... ^_^ Thanks a lot for the help. - edit - Strike that. The "once more into the breach..." button no longer seems to lead...

What I was thinking of if I was going to write a relay script for this, was to check if there were any skills to be found in the permery, and if not disable the box. I think that'll require an extra server hit though, which goes against the design philosophy of mafia?

Yeah, this would solve my problem - it's only one extra click in Valhalla, but it is getting a bit tedious. Maybe I should just have posted this as a feature request in the first place :-)

My thoughts exactly. I might have a look at it myself if there's no such functionality existing, but I figured it was a common enough problem that it was worth asking if it already existed. Also I think I may have clicked report instead of reply first - sorry about that =p

Does anyone know if there's a script out there who automatically checks the box for whether you want to ascend with no skills marked permanent? Or roughly what snippet would need to be included in an existing relay script? [Edit: Moved from Community Support to Feature Request -- MCroft]

Yeah, it was the "build" button which was missing for a while. I dunno why, if I had just waited 30 minutes, this thread wouldn't exist .-)

There used to be a link in the top right corner of the forums to where I could go to download it, but it's no longer there. Cursory inspection of the other links in the area does lead to any jar files. Can someone please give me a pointer to where I can find it? - edit - Checked back just now...

I just updated to Java SDK 17, and that seems to have fixed it. I guess I am just not used to software not updating automatically :-p

The button for executing moods is missing from the toolbar after a recent update. The setting chit.toolbar.moods displayed false when I checked it, while I *think* it was bonus before, but changing it back to bonus did not make the button reappear.
