The skill to pickpock only counts if you actually successfully pickpocket, too. So, it's not strict 11 uses per day. It's 11 successful pickpockets per day.

According to the wiki, the list of possible bodyguards is "any wishable monster, with a few exceptions". I'm not sure of the "exceptions" mechanic.

I don't know about the superlikely, but the noncombat can be triggered by anything that forces noncombats.

After adventuring out of Ronin, the link started showing up in mafia for me, as well. Like I said, when I closed mafia and just logged into KOL without it, I was getting the link roughly every 25 combat adventures (roughly 50 fights in Avent Guard path). If there's variation, it doesn't seem to...

After logging in without mafia, the link showed up immediately. And about every 25 adventures or so after that. I just spent 127 adventures without mafia and got the link another 5 times.

According to the wiki, it supposed to show up when the bodyguard starts being referred to as "looks mildly talkative" at the end of combats. Mine doesn't have the link when using Mafia (I'm still in ronin, got a few quests still to finish). But, if I log in without using Mafia, the link shows up...

Apparently, something in Mafia prevents us from being able to chat with our bodyguard, which is a selectable monster fight when in the Avent Guard path. There simply is no displayed link to do so. Here's the wiki page on the adventure that it points to, if that's any help...

Yeah. I've had mafia acting weird after I break the prism and pull all for about 3 years. I thought mafia just wasn't able to ever handle it. It also does this if you either drop ronin or spend 1000 adventures to get rid of ronin, then pull all.
