After 14970, I think the main things missing are the floors and ceilings for the scaling monsters, their drops, and the results from drinking the booze from one of the monsters.

The event is done. We obviously don't have all the monster data in place. But, you can still get the monsters via Fax (or equivalent). The drops - if not percentages - should be easy. And the booze should have enough data by now. Somewhere.

If we have the data, it would be nice to enter it.

If not, I think I should just roll a new release, so that people who, for some reason, don't like the hourly builds can use the "latest official release" and not be totally crippled with skill casting.
 
I was away for the Twitch Stream (Elite Dangerous Premiere) but plan to watch it. If that data is exposed I'll grab it, and it probably will be. Not worth holding up a release for though.
 
As far as I'm aware, all monsters in those zones scale to your stats exactly, with floor of 5 and cap of 1000. Here's the data that isn't visible in-game.
sleeve deuce: 20%
pocket ace: 5%

nastygeist: 20%
gold tooth: 3%

portable table: 10%
outlaw bandana: 5%

shot of mescal, other craggy bart drops: 15%
adv: 11-13. substats: 25-75 of the one stat (in order of item number, mus, mys, mox)

minin' dynamite: 20, 1

spooky lasso: 20%
rusted-out shootin' iron: 5%
plaid cowboy hat: 5%

rattler rattle: 40%

Gamblin' Man has variable meat drop (0-300 base).
 
I was sure I saw them scaling at 1 higher than my stats (plus the ML I was running, according to mafia, which was a nice round number like I expected).
I agree. I just faxed a cowskeleton from Faustbot.

MUS = 141 MOX=279 MCD=10

Monster Manuel says the cowskeleton has:

Atk=290 Def=152 HP=114
 
I don't know of a way to encode this in Mafia; further, it's hardcoded in-game. Gamblin' Man has a base meat drop that's randomly chosen between 0 and 300 every fight, then modified by the +/- 20%, then modified by meat drop modifiers.
 
So either no meat drop or 300, 50/50 chance between the two? So... 150 as our 'average' base pre-triangular meat drop?
 
For our purposes though, the only choice we have would be 150. That should give us the right average, even if the specific results will be wrong over 58% of the time... Basically, 0-99 and 226-300 are the ranges that will never fall into the 150 triangular. But on average and for farming purposes, it's still the 'right' choice.
 
Brainworm effect was listed in the first post, but showed up as unimplemented today in 14979.

r14986 Added caps, floors and meat drop to monsters.

Put in 150 as the average meat drop. It'll display as the wrong range. If this becomes a common thing we'll have to add min and max meat drop back for monsters and change all the calculations for the meat drop again. However, for a one off monster that's already not generally available (well, unless someone decides it's the ideal fax), I'm going to avoid scratching that itch.
 
I doubt it'll be a common thing. IMO the "right" thing to do is specify overridemeatdrop to be somewhat in line with what KoL does.

This removes 1 stick of minin' dynamite from your inventory. Also doesn't cost you an adventure for mining non-Promising chunks, but haven't had problem with adventure counts.
