Upgraded to recent Mafia build, now tab switches to "Graphical CLI" on script run. How to stop?

Wow! I fit pretty much everything in title.

Basically I find this annoying and need it to stop, is there a setting I'm missing somewhere that stops it changing to "Graphical CLI" tab when I run a script?

If not what build introduced this I want to revert back to something prior. Thanks. :)

Until some of the devs who have been around for a while walk away from KoLmafia, using the word "annoy" (or variations) about a feature of a free program supported by volunteers is a good way to get ignored.

That said, I believe the behavior was introduced with PR #751 (https://github.com/kolmafia/kolmafia/pull/751). You are not the first person to express a preference for the old behavior and reverting that feature is being discussed at PR #759 (https://github.com/kolmafia/kolmafia/pull/759).

Thanks for the great and informative response! And I'm sorry if I came off as rude, I just don't have a lot of time for KoL these days and automate almost everything about it, basically loath this game at this point yet still truck on because of mafia make its bearable for me, this update and behavior change was really jarring for me to walk into, and still is, literally even hurts my eyes when it happens, and all the scrolling text is basically unreadable for me anyway as it happening so why? and now I need to constantly juggle back and forth tabs a few dozen times, its a real pain now. I'm hoping the dev in charge of it can at least add a small option to stop the switching and just keep the old behavior.

That said, I really do appreciate all the work that goes into KoLmafia, from all you guys it has really come a long way in the many years I've used it, I mean HOLY COW 26400 changes, WTF

Also can confirm that commit was the change where the new behavior started, I reverted just prior to r26392, and it's back to the "good" o' way.


Please consider an option!
