Proxy Problems

ever since the server reconfiguration I am having trouble staying connected at work (using a proxy). I am frequently getting logged off in the middle of adventure sequences, or when manually adventuring I get 502 and 504 errors. I keep updated on builds but don't know why this is happening. any ideas on how to remedy this? it's taking far too long to get through adventures at work.
 
this has been a multi-day problem and only when I'm using the proxy at work, not at home where things are normal.
