In the Defiled Cranny you can choose to fight a "Swarm of ghuol whelps" and with higher ML these turn into bigger swarms. The currently known variants (on the wiki) seem to be "big swarm of ghoul whelps" and "giant swarm of ghoul whelps".

None of these are listed as monsters by Mafia (even though the choice adventure lists "fight swarm of ghuol whelps" as one of the options.
