If you do "fold garbage shirt" in the GCLI while in a run where you do not have torso awaregness, it throws an error, saying "You can't make a shirt". However, if you use the tote in the relay browser, you can select the garbage shirt and it assembles fine. If you have the tote, this is probably the easiest way to start Melvign's quest. Probably, it's hitting some error-checking code from older foldables where you had to have torso to make those shirts. It's hardly game-breaking, but I thought I'd mention it.
