Here's what the Maximizer wants to do to it to improve Spooky Resistance:

It does that for all resistances: remove hardened slime belt - and give up +3 all resistances for the item AND +3 all resistances for the Slimesuit - and replace it with a +4 item to the single resistance.

Obviously, since I am doing this with the GUI, I ignore that bad recommendation, but were I maximizing programmatically, I'd end up with inferior results.

What is your "maximizerCombinationLimit" ?
And do you get different results if you add "-tie"?
And what happens if you remove all your equipment fist?

I find these three things can lead to changes in maximizer results, especially when your inventory is large (like in Aftercore).

maximizerCombinationLimit is 100000. It is not hitting it; only Item Drop seems to do that for me in aftercore.

Starting with no equipment whatsoever, maximizing for "spooky resistance" suggests a "best score 42.00" which does not include the Slimesuit.

If I equip a better outfit - including the Slimesuit, and an astral pet sweater - I have spooky resistance 48.00

Maximizing for spooky resistance says "replace the hardened slime belt with white earbuds (-2) and astral pet sweater with Mayflower bouquet" for "best score 46.00"

Maximizing with -tie leaves everything intact for "best score 48.00".

Why in the world should I have to specify "-tie" in order to have it not degrade my target stat?
