Title says most of it, I play mostly in the relay browser, chain of events:
Visited council, got level 10 quest
Clicked plains, coffee grounds, got message about not having a bean
adventured once in bean chamber got bean, clicked plant (decorated link)
climbed stalk, clicked airship (in relay still), then moved to mafia (mid battle) for it to take over and adventure to get the s.o.c.k at which point it popped up the dialog to say I hadn't planted a bean yet.
