Unfortunately each ascension KoL forgets about the Arcade on the wrong side of the tracks. Then when we try to automatically redeem tokens or tickets it won't work.

When getting a GG token at the end of a fight, I personally find the [arcade] link awkward when I click it and fail because it was the first time this ascension. After getting a blank page I then need to navigate the relay browser to the wrong side of the tracks. That happens once every ascension.

Also, some people just like to purchase tickets from the mall and then get frustrated when mafia fails to automatically redeem them. It seems puzzling to them.

It would be very nice if mafia could keep track of the arcade, saving the information about the ascension of your last visit in a lastArcadeAscension property, and automatically visit it when there's a need.

I have noticed this issue. It seems like the kind of thing an ascensionScript could handle. Do you know what you have to do to make the GG work normally again? Visit the Wrong Side, or enter the Game Grid?
 
True... this could be handled by a postAscensionScript quite easily... Something else to add to newLife.ash?
 
No, it cannot be handled by a postAscensionScript.

It is impossible to make the arcade appear until you have a GG ticket or a GG token in your inventory. No character can fulfill that criteria before turn 1 unless they pull it from Hangks or are ascending casual. After you acquire a ticket or a token you need to visit the Wrong Side of the Tracks.
 
Revision 8683 adds the setting. It compares the setting to your ascension count whenever you obtain a Game Grid token or ticket and not only sets it, if it is less, but auto-visits the Wrong Side of the Tracks.
