KoLmafia Forum SVN updates -- threads not happening!

Dead as in "this person is dead" or dead as in "the site has currently expired"? (the second is true, I sincerely hope that the first isn't...)

I added the link to make it clear which one I was talking about. I don't know what happened to the first.

There was a link first as well, but the reason for the site being down could very well still be the unthinkable reason, which prompted my question...

I never saw the site as down. Yesterday it was blank page, now it looks like either javascript/php excersise or successfully hacked. But not down. That's just the svn-relaying service.

Yesterday when I went to mattchugg.com I got a "domain available" page. Today I see text that starts out with
The Problem…

During a recent project, built in a well known CMS system,

whois takes me to godaddy that tells me
Update Date: 2014-02-12 07:17:20
Creation Date: 2008-02-09 07:37:39
Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2015-02-09 07:37:39

so my best guess is that the person Matt Chugg is alive and well but was not proactive about renewing the domain registration.

mattchug has returned from the dead! Yay! That also implies that Winterbay's fear was unrealized.

Sorry about that! Godaddy failed to auto-renew the domain, billing address change.

For the record, I am not dead! Nor (now) is mattchugg.com. It actually hosts my dev wp install which is why it looks gibberish as a blank theme is activated and just seeing the dummy content

I am however dealing with some family stuff, and some seriously heavy work deadlines, I log on to KoL occasionally, and check the forums when I can, I have my work address linked to my KoLmafia.us account, so I will get notifications on PMs.

The VPS that hosts this should never go down and is maintained, just the domain issue in this instance, am happy to hand over the rss generator, cron scripts and db schema to fewyn if he wants to host it on kolmafia.us

Having played KoL for around 6 years now, I have no intention of quitting!

Hey! I just had an idea, to make it up for the previous issue:

What if I also run a second, modified version of this to create a feed of all the svn based user script updates?!

Would anyone find that useful?
