Certain weapons dropped by bosses in the Crackpot Mystic's Psychoses grant combat skills, of which mafia is yet unaware.

Equipping the anger blaster grants Rage Flame (skill 7142).
Equipping the doubt cannon grants Doubt Shackles (skill 7143).
Equipping the fear condenser grants Fear Vapor (skill 7144).
Equipping the regret hose grants Tear Wave (skill 7145).

These all cost 0 MP but consume a pixel power cell upon successful use.
