Getting results of combat

Apologies: I'm sure I'm just not searching for the correct keyword on the wiki.

How do I find out whether a combat was successful after: ' use( 1, $item[photocopied monster] ); '?

One thing you can do is call run_combat() and look for "WINWINWIN" (or maybe "FREEFREEFREE" if you used a free kill). I don't know off the top of my head of a cleaner option.

Will return the text of the last combat encounter when called independently of a fight page.
