Bug custom outfit bug

The last few days I have been having issues with a custom outfit not letting me equip due to lack of moxie even though my moxie is well above the threshold. I can manually equip the alpha-mail pants and its fine. Thanks for any help you can give.

That's not kolmafia functionality though, right?

Is this happening always when you try to make that switch?
- does it depend on what you had equipped before?
--- also, did you ever eqiuip an stats-restraining item during that session?
- does it depend on how you trigger the outfit change (chat command, outfit switcher in inventory/equipment)?
- does it happen only when you are playing through mafia, or also when you are not using mafia?
