I am having some issues with having enough Meat early in day 1 to maintain MP (around the time when the script does the Snojo fights). I ended up doing that part manually and after beating the Boss Bat it was no longer a problem.

I have been having this problem too. Sometimes it does not recognize that it is a "new" day and tells me that I have no Deck uses left right upon log in. Refreshing mafia fixes the problem (temporarily), I think.

Just wondering, is there a reason the script prefers Canneloni Cannon to Saucestorm?

Okay, I figured it out. I can use the "set chit.stats.layout =" command in Mafia to change the layout, but editing the setvar() defaults in charpane.ash doesn't do anything for me.
