    Isn't there a zap-tracking preference now? I seem to recall one being added. If so, that could be used to determine whether a zap was "safe" to do. Sure, people who mix non-mafia with mafia play could be burned, but it's kind of moved past that point in many ways; there's just too much stuff...

    I agree with V (hey that rhymes); a single zap when mafia thinks it's safe to do one and that guarantees you'll be able to use all keys is certainly a good idea; chancing blowing up your wand at that point would probably be a bad idea, except maybe if you were "good to go" on tower items already...

    So, I can report progress is being made. I've currently written an entirely new wiki-parser that saves the found info to maps, all the better for manipulating what does and doesn't get displayed. Of course, the display right now is testing-only, and just a list, rather than a table. But progress! :p

    I think it'd be nice to see them register as messages with an empty-string sender (since that's guaranteed never to be a player's name). Also makes for fairly trivial "ignore event" handling. I would suggest leaving all "type of event" parsing to the scripter, for simplicity. (NB: My $0.02 only)

    I might lean toward opt-in rather than opt-out, possibly... but since they're quest items, I don't see the harm; it's not like they'd be mall-sold or autosold. Even if you didn't need to use one, since it dropped on a fight that already brought the boss up... it still has no negative impact...

    Maybe if I get bored this weekend I'll go through and combine appropriate images for such use (ie overlap a "bee" image with each of opening and closing parentheses, cookie, etc.). Which brings up a point; anyone have a definitive list of such things?
