if you have 3 AT buffs, it won't auto-shrug one if you just try to invoke the skill. If you invoke a mood, mafia will shrug your lowest-count AT buff to make room for Ode. My chars are now using this :)

I'm finding that the script will often restore my HP (with cocoon, or whatever) and then want to restore MP so it runs off and buys 10 magi wipes and restores 500 HP/MP. Not really a huge problem for me, just a little sub-optimal :) The convenience of the script is well worth it.

I'm guessing you need to address the "have to run as administrator" stuff first. I used to use mafia (the .jar files) in a corporate network on computers that were so locked down we couldn't change the screensaver and I never had a problem.

In ascend.ash ... there's a line towards the beginning: boolean break_on_boss = true; I can't find a reference for that in any of the included files. Is it something that was "in the works" but didn't make the cut this time?

I'm agreeing with you! I don't think this script should handle preemptive healing.

snowcones and cupcakes are, in my opinion, best used out of combat. (for, example, when you're about to hit an area with 100% combats -- the goatlet, for example)
