New Challenge Path Dropped - Allows you to wear (one of ) every hat you have access to at once, but cannot unequip them again. Monsters are also wearing a number of hats (number appears to be based on ML?), and can occasionally drop the hats they wear (albeit not via YR) - and gain bonuses based on the hats they are wearing
 
Path appends the list of hats the monster is wearing to the encounter name (for example: modern zmobie wearing a jockey's hat and an imposing pilgrim's hat and an extra-tight skullcap)
 
I wonder if this path allows us to wear more than one outfit at once. I'm not sure what combinations there are.

Should be able to check that. You just need an outfit that doesn't use pants to go with harem girl.
 
I've been hacking up autoscend to get it to work in Hat Trick, but since r28529 came out I reverted my hacks. I just finished doing day 2 and then ascending and doing day 1. Obviously, autoscend didn't take advantage of using extra hats, but everything ran real smooth, except the harem outfit. There is a KoL issue where outfits with hats don't put the hat on. This caused autoscend to loop until its 50 turn loop detection went off.
 
Yeah, you'll want to update autoscend to be paranoid about outfits. It does that in WereProf anyway due to the stat limitations.
 
I'm not sure what Kol is doing in this case, but looks like kolmafia is calculating DA based on all the hats together, so it's currently is saying my DA is 1030, but not getting the maximum points for DA bonus in Megalo City.

greycat also spaded wearing two outfits at once.
I wore the Yendorian Finery and the Bugbear Costume at the same time, and the result was that the Yendorian Finery took effect, and the Bugbear Costume did not. My avatar is the giant @ sign, and I do not have the +3 Mysticality from the Bugbear Costume.

I'm not sure what I expected, but I don't think it was exactly this.

OTOH, I'm glad we don't have to fix maximizer for possible two outfits at once.
 
I am wearing the Yendorian Finery and the Harem outfit and it also seems the Yendorian Finery is taking priority. This does make me wonder if it decides what outfit you are wearing based on some kind of internal "Ranking" (like how high or low that outfit is numbered in the registry) or instead what order you equiped them. There really aren't too many outfits that can be combined like this so its a bit awkward to test.

Edit: While I'm here, when I equip an outfit from the "Gear changer" menu" it doesn't equip the hat even though I'm not wearing that hat yet. I've had to equip them manually quite a few times.

A small problem I noticed is that available_amount includes equipped hats. This causes some problems with recipes using hats like the turtle helmet. I don't know if fixing that would cause other problems.
