Bug Mafia always runs /listen in chat after I run a chat command

Every time I run a chat command in the chat pane in the relay browser (using KoL "Older chat", not tabbed), Mafia runs the /listen command or something equivalent, giving me the list of the channels I am listening to.
This doesn't happen when I run commands via cli_execute in an ash script or the graphical CLI in the Mafia window.
This doesn't happen if I log into KoL without Mafia.

In the attachment, you can see some autoattack changes from something in a script - not followed by /listen - and then I ran a /count tattered scrap to trigger the bug.

This started after one of the times I updated Mafia during Crimbo, but subsequent updates haven't fixed it.

I wanted to add that this is currently happening in build 27815, but it's been in all the builds for a month.

Is there really nobody else experiencing this? Or simply nobody knows what to do about it? It's still happening in r27866.

It doesn't happen when I run commands via cli_execute from a script, even if those commands spew output into the chat pane. It happens when I manually take control and enter commands through the chat pane of the relay browser, or enter actual chat.

Session log shows nothing when it happens, except for any gamestate I've changed with the command, such as what I equipped.

Does it happen if you use tabbed chat?

It happens to me, using Safari. I can take a look at the source, it's likely to be low-priority, since it's only in the earlier chat interface.

There is a small delay before it gives me the message. It does not happen in vanilla browser KoL.

It does not. I just don't use that because I find I am likely to miss chat happening in other channels/tabs with it.

This is only going to narrow it down a little, but it was likely after I installed build 27750 on December 23rd when I started seeing it. My previous build was 27697.

Interestingly, I noticed this WASN'T happening today, though nothing had changed in my setup - still older chat, still r27866. Was there actually a KoL bug that was causing this, even though it only appeared in Mafia?
