I personally think that is a wise decision.
Continuously adding support for new challenge paths would bloat this script and also risk introducing errors each time.
And as you mention the support might never be that great given the limited window of opportunity (for extra Karma at least).

I just finished a 4/948 run.
Day 1 was 100% manually (reached level 7, finished all level 1-6 quests and just barely got Liver).
Day 2-4 was done almost entirely by using this script except for faxing and eating/drinking.
I am guessing I was somewhat lucky, but 4 day runs does seem to be within...
I am guessing you have some scratch 'n' sniff stickers.
I had the same problem and have already created a bug report with a possible fix.
If you are moxie then try searching for scratch and change the code to:

BTW. Just to be clear.
You still need to get the fledges to unlock the next location on the ship, but you do not need to equip the fledges to adventure there.
99% sure that I did just that manually today.

Thank you very much. I think I will change that in my local copy in case I run into that situation again.
However if the script is trying to move towards 4 day ascensions then I think it would be better to skip this needless Myst leveling and just equip the Pirate outfit instead.
For some reason I did not have enough Myst when reaching the level 11 quest.
This causes the script to adventure in Bathroom to get 60 Myst.
Unfortunately my Bathroom goal is usually set to Moxie substats to level faster during the script's GMOB hunting.
How do other people handle this dilemma?
It is also worth noticing that:
1) As far as I know the harem outfit + perfume is usually faster to get than guard outfit + cake unless you clover for a Elite Guard Captain, which the script doesn't.
2) The guard outfit's second purpose, The Knob Dispensary, is useless in a bee-run.

I would prefer a solution where users don't have to change a multitude of settings before (and after) running the script.
It probably does not happen in all areas. I will try to investigate after I get the last telescope piece.
v0.18. During the Nuns quest my Sugar Shield broke. Afterwards the script stopped doing the Nuns quest and started killing hippies instead.
KoLmafia is set to break when sugar stuff breaks.
I suggest changing the war code to something like the following (using nuns as an example)...

The only thing I remember changing today was updating the CounterChecker script and that was almost in the beginning of the day.
