    I noticed that it cast cocoon twice to restore 1017 HP, when cocoon + something smaller would have saved some mp.

    Both Combats and Noncombats in the Encounter Listing have a handy right-click menu that promises to show the Wiki or Game description of the monster, but nothing happens when I try it. I'm not sure that the Game description even means anything, but it would be nice to get to the Wiki pages.
