Haunted Library issues

I seem to be having issues in the Haunted Library, on the Take a Look, it's in a Book! encounter.

I set:
set choiceAdventure80=99;
set choiceAdventure81=99;

Mafia seems to think it picked the right option, and goes on but bails because it didn't really pick an option. If I open the browser it's still waiting for my choice.

Looking at the source I see:

choice.php?whichchoice=80&pwd=Some Hash&option=99

With Some Hash set to some hashed string, I've seen these a lot on the new island too. I assume this is something new since NS13? Is it what is confusing Mafia and is there a work around?

edit: I stupidly used angle brackets around the Some Hash above

Tell kolmafia to ignore the adventure?

But option 99 is to unlock the stairs, won't it just choose option 4 to skip the adventure?
