Possible to adventure somewhere not listed?

I have a question: Is it possible to adventure somewhere that hasn't been coded into the location table yet (read Crimbo Town Toy Factory), and if so, how? Thanks a ton in advance!

To expand a little, it isn't possible to automatically adventure somewhere that hasn't been coded in. The relay browser won't block you.

If I remember right, there were browser (firefox) scriptlets created in the past, that allowed auto-adventuring in un-coded areas. Search around google possibly :)

....crud.

Self-compilation, here I come!

Edit: IT WORKS! Compilation was a snap and I'm now mafia-ing away at the Toy Factory.

Mafia won't help you with the 100+ turns you should be spending at the casino, which are probably better spent playing 11 than the slot machine.

Why is it that every year someone decides he just has to demonstrate for the masses how to make mafia do this? Why is it that every year they post their "brilliance" right after someone explains that mafia isn't going to be doing this? Why is it that they never see the connection between these two things?

Yes, this isn't hard to do, but keep the method to yourself because we don't want to purposefully thwart the intent of the devs.

S'okay. I'm still a little irked at the guy last year who flamed us all after fewyn deleted his post. It seems you're cut from different cloth so I hope we get along in the future.

Anyway, the hard limit of 50 Crimbo adventures per day kinda makes it pointless to restrict this and I think the devs might end up changing their minds about the limit. Or not. Either way I'll respect their decision.

I agree that 50 scaling adventures a day is unlikely to be the cause of the current horrendous lag. That said, I was still pondering whether to lift the restriction this year when I submitted my recent Crimbo Town support (which is not done; more to come) and found, after the fact, that I had submitted the adventure area as well.

I guess my subconscious was telling me something. I hope I don't get beat up by hola.

I'm also really happy this made it into the daily build. I didn't want to subvert the intentions of mafia developers, but I was definitely not looking forward to playing those turns by hand every day of Crimbo. I'm glad I saw the content, but the value-add for me on clicking "script" and "again" 50 times per day is pretty limited.

I don't think OP had malicious intentions.

There are lots of restrictions in KoLmafia that are there with good reason, some people just don't know what those reasons are.
