That does seem to be the file. My copy was dated 6/18. I don't recall ever turning off updating. I deleted the offending file, and it auto-updated itself the next turn. Thanks Zarqon! I was going nuts trying to find the offending file.

I guess that is more my question, why is anti-dote even an option when I am not poisoned? I would expect there to be some sort of checking for being poisoned. No worries it's not a big problem obviously, just something that irked me (not annoyed, just irked!)

Ahh, sounds good, makes sense. I'm actually a little embarrassed that I hadn't researched this better, I'm actually in IT- but I don't deal with modern Windows much, mostly XP. Doesn't help that I don't LIKE Win8, so I haven't really tried to use it much. I prefer DOS truth be told.

Very possible, I didn't really worry too much about it, but I know he got an error that he needed to install Java, and a link. On the Java page itself it explains that Java doesn't work on Windows 8. Or at least it did explain that, now it works.

I wasn't sure if it was minecraft itself that wasn't working, or an add-on or mod for it.

Up until just a few days ago, there was no Java compatible with Win8. My son reports that there now is (he can finally get something to work that hasn't since he got his Win8 machine).

Thanks Frono, works as advertised! Since I don't really manage my store much, I just load it up with OCD (Thanks Bale!) at the end of every run, and let it slowly earn me a few meat. This will reverse the process, unstock the not likely to sell stuff from the store and just convert it to meat...

I like Theraze's idea. I have had a few issues with using Mafia for multiple characters. This would make things better.

Funny, I've seen Office Space a few times, and I never associate that error with the movie. I just know it is one of the most confusing printer errors there is, as the PC doesn't stand for anything you might think it does.....

Too damn funny, almost made me spit my coffee all over my monitor. Ugh there is NOTHING worse than troubleshooting printers!

I didn't capture it, but the script did indeed purchase an abridged dictionary, then go get the screwdriver for the tinker just yesterday for me. I didn't actually see it use the dictionary, but I wasn't watching super-closely. I'm pretty sure it did use it.
